I purchased the power supply to replace the original one that came with my MSI GE77HX. The charger claims to have the same specifications as the original one. I used my laptop for awhile doing normal tasks and it kept the battery charged but as soon as I launched a game, Subnautica, the power supply shut off. I have used the original power supply for years and have played hundreds of hours of games without any power iussues. This charger does not work if you want to play games. I will fill out a ticket with MSI and start the RMA process and I will update the results.UPDATE: I received a replacement and it has the same problem, it's a design flaw and this unit is not compatible with a MSI GE77HX.
